Stripping Machine for Semi-Rigid Coaxial Cables The Schleuniger Model SemiRigid 1000 is designed for stripping conventional semirigid coaxial wire up to 4.5 mm (0.177") O. D. A unique Swiss engineered design combines precision mechanics and electronics to guarantee optimum processing of semi-rigid coaxial wire. The Schleuniger SR 1000 saves multi-step stripping settings for 64 different cables.
Function
Select the desired program. Insert the wire and start the stripping process by pressing the foot pedal. The machine uses one set of blades to turn down and remove the outer conductor and dielectric, leaving the center conductor exposed at the programmed length and diameter. If a two-step strip is required, a second set of blades turn down the outer conductor at the programmed length and diameter. Finally, if pointing is selected, a third set of blades point the center conductor to the programmed pointing diameter.
