ToolingShuttle System (TSS)
The ToolingShuttle System (TSS) is a modular system to minimize downtime of CrimpCenter fully automatic crimping machines. Complete setup of crimp applicator, terminal reel and paper winder (all mounted on a ToolingShuttle 60 mobile quickchange unit) including quality assurance testing, is done at an external TSS Workstation while the CrimpCenter is producing.
Change-over of a SLP 2000 crimping station on CrimpCenter machines is accomplished with a pre-set ToolingShuttle 60 in less than 30 seconds using innovative Plug & CrimpTM technology. Special handling knowledge is not required.
The ToolingShuttle System (TSS) is not limited to Schleuniger crimp applicators. All standard crimping tools (mini-style applicators) can easily be integrated.
