Schleuniger’s PullTester 27 is a dual-range, motorised, bench-top unit designed to measure pull-test forces of wire crimp connections as well ultrasonic metal welding connectionson a wider range than single-range pull test devices. These measured values are indispensible parameters (IEC 352-2 standard) for quality control and assurance. This standardequires measurement at the maximum measured force (destructive test). This versatile machine has two measuring ranges, which are individually calibrated enabling use for small or larger wires: PullTester 27 (standard): -2’000 / -5’000 N PullTester 27-10 (special version): -5’000 / -10'000 N
This dual-range capability ensures the highest accuracy for the widest range of applications. Hand actuated or pneumatic pull test devices can give inconsistent data depending on the operator or pull rate. The IEC standard specifies that a pulltester measures with a consistent pull rate. The Schleuniger PullTester 27 is equipped with a controlled speed motor, ensuring consistent pull rates throughout the measuring range which means repeatable and accurate data. Pull forces can be measured in pounds, Newtons or kilo ponds. The terminal holder will be designed and manufactured based on your application. A variety of terminal holders, however, are available upon request.
Applications
The PullTester 27 is the base model. Its counterpart, Pull Tester 28 has more features to accommodate more stringent test requirements. Both machines are available in two versions (standard: -2’000 / -5’000 N, special version: -5’000 / -10’000 N) and are specially suited for quality assurance in a production environment.
