PreFeederControl 2
Wire Prefeeding Control The PreFeederControl 2 is an accessory used to control the starting, stopping and instantaneous speed of a Schleuniger dereeler. The PreFeederControl 2 continuously measures the position of the wire loop and sends these values to the dereeler. The dereeler uses these values to regulate the feeding speed. Both units work together to provide a secure and reliable prefeeding system.
Function
- Measurement of the wire loop position
- Wire guidance through dancer roller and adjustable guide roller
- Safeguarding of the feeding process with separate Stop and Start/Stop signals
Customer Benefit
The combination of a wire dereeler with the PreFeederControl 2 results in the ideal
feeding system for larger diameter and less flexible materials, such as Sucoform
cables and PVC tubing.
For flat ribbon applications, the PreFeederControl 2 is an ideal technical and cost
effective wire feed adjustment system.
Changeover time is considerably reduced compared to pulley based accumulator
controls. The wire or cable is simply threaded through the PreFeederControl 2 in
seconds and no additional adjustments are necessary.
